Metiskill is set up with the objective of catalysing industry-academia partnerships enabling the imparting of skill education to Indian youth in core industrial relevant job competencies through appropriately designed (market oriented) skill education programs that enhance their employability quotient.

In furtherance of this objective, Metiskill has partnered with leading Indian universities which offer skill based apprenticeship/internship embedded graduation, PG diploma and certificate programs wherein 60-70% of the credits for the programs are earned through on-the-job training (OJT) at our partner industries. Considering the high weightage given to practical experience/OJT in these programs, they are well suited to be implemented in 'Earn while you Learn' formats, thereby making education accessible to millions of Indian youth who are compelled to work and earn at a young age due to economic considerations.

Skill Development
Our programs are designed to enhance employability. We have an Industry-Relevant Curriculum that aligns with 21st century industry requirements.
We facilitate internships, on-the-job training, and placement opportunities for students. Our emphasis on practical learning through hands-on training, workshops, and real-world projects ensures that students gain practical experience in addition to theoretical knowledge.

Industry Partnerships
A new wave of Industry - Academia Partnerships has been unleashed by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The dividing line between the classroom and workplace is blurring and seamless mobility between classroom and workplace is being made possible.
We are leveraging this to enable workmen to pursue UGC graduation programs while continuing to work and earn. Our students earn 60-70% of their credits from on-the-job training at our partner industries, and the remaining 30-40% from classroom/online instruction.

Metiskill's AAA Solution
As a country endowed with demographic dividend, India is facing a paradoxical situation. While on the one hand domestic economic growth is creating huge employment demand and job opportunities, on the other hand, the severe shortage of skills is making more people unemployable. At Metiskill, we are trying to address this problem with our AAA Solution.
Availability
We assist our industry partners in mobilising candidates who have a strong aspiration to work & earn while learning. With our highly experienced experts from the industry, we identify and mobilise the right candidates for the right jobs.
Attrition
Attrition at the worker level is one of the biggest challenges faced by industry today. We have found that proper sourcing is half the solution. We actively engage with the candidates through dedicated ex-servicemen field officers who help in resolving grievances and keep them motivated while they are engaged in our programs. The program is also offered to existing employees & contractual workers in recognition of their good services. This model has been extremely successful in high retention of employees.​
Absorption
Our students are well trained in hard and soft skills. This upskilling helps them gain upward mobility and overcome stagnation. This group of workers offers our industry partners a great talent pool to choose from for their long term requirements. A dedicated placement team also works on placing students in jobs within India and overseas.
